Universal Credit is a single monthly payment for individuals both in and out of work, combining six existing working-age benefits into one. This payment is made directly into your bank account in arrears. Please note that there is typically a minimum six-week wait for the first payment.
If your Housing Benefit claim has been cancelled or suspended, you should:
